RUN For JUMP falls short of goal
On September 17th JUMP runners, walkers and supporters gathered to participate in our Annual Run for JUMP. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful Lake Champlain as we raised nearly $8,000.
Unfortunately, JUMP fell $7,000 short of meeting our very important $15,000 goal.
As you know, it has been over a quarter century since the founding churches established JUMP to assist families in need in the greater Burlington area. JUMP has grown and expanded in that time, fundraising and seeking grants to fund the ever present need that comes to JUMP’s door every week, 50 weeks a year.
We are extremely grateful for your RUN participation and support throughout the years. It is because of you JUMP has served countless numbers of families and individuals over these more than 25 years.
In direct response, JUMP has mailed out an emergency post RUN for JUMP Appeal to help meet our goal.
Please stay tuned to our JUMP website, FACEBOOK and “JUMP IN!” bulletin for more information regarding RUN results and the post RUN for JUMP Appeal. Or please visit JUMP’s website: www.jumpvt.org and make a donation to help meet our goal.
Yours in Hope and Community,
Wanda Hines; Director
