Saturday, 9/21/19, on beautiful Lake Champlain at Burlington North Beach, JUMP hosted their Annual RUN (Walk For) JUMP Event. This year’s event raised nearly $9,000 for the JUMP Drop In Center voucher assistance program.
Ron Pynn; Board President thanked the participants in a ceremony to announce the race winners and top fundraisers. In addition, thanked were sponsors and gift donors for their role in the continually making the RUN (Walk For) JUMP fundraiser a successful family-friendly event to raise awareness.
Community support for the annual fundraiser for JUMP continues to come in many forms. A community-wide event to raise money to help low income Vermonters could not be a success without the support of sponsors, participants, and race volunteers.
After the event, female top finisher Judy Carroll acknowledged, “Every year I really enjoy this race. You make it so fun and community oriented.”
